OBE Chapel St Paul’s Cathedral, London
for lighting design partnership

The lighting design for this prestigious project was part of the comprehensive alterations and improvements to the OBE Chapel (Chapel of the Order of the British Empire). Our concept was multi-layered and intended to provide appropriate lighting scenes for the various functions and services that take place within the Chapel.

To unify the space the soaring vaulted architecture was softly uplit, which provided a dimmable backdrop to the more decorative features. Discreet spotlights carefully highlighted the Alter and other significant religious monuments, creating visual order and focus. Together with the architects, we developed the design and technical aspects of a bespoke family of luminaries. Chandeliers, pendants and three-arm wall sconces were manufactured using the highest quality materials, reflecting the importance of this world-renowned building.
